“The pictorial surfaces are used as spaces on which to impress an emotion. Each stain is the footprint of other signs that have marked another place. Papers, canvases, acetates are left to rest on each other, color after color, layer by layer, year after year. Glued, torn and reassembled, each of them tells a story, recalls a moment: it is time that leaves an imprint, like a story of which only a trace remains.”
